Audit Manager/Senior Manager (ACA/ACCA)
Leading Independent Firm of Accountants in Dorset
Working for one of Dorset's leading independent firms of accountants, your role as Audit Department Manager will be to support the Directors in developing and delivering company strategy and managing a portfolio of clients delivering the firm's audit services.
In addition to client service delivery, the role will involve focusing on income targets, recoverability, and planning and coordinating the client's commitments. You will also be responsible for the overall management of the team to coordinate, forecast, and plan the workflow, as well as oversee training and support for the whole team.
To be successful in the role, you will need to be ACCA/ACA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 5 years post-qualification experience in a similar environment, including at least 2 years of previous management experience. You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong proficiency in IT, and problem-solving ability. You will be results-driven, team-oriented, and possess a high level of integrity with the ability to maintain client confidentiality.
