Duffryn FFrwd Manor is a Nursing & Residential Care Home based in Nantgarw, Near Pontypridd & Caerphilly and just off the M4 corridor and we have been trading for almost 30 years. We are looking to recruit an experienced and well organised Administrator/Receptionist in the Nursing Home and you will be directly responsible to the Nursing Home Manager, Deputy Manager and the Clinical lead to ensure the smooth running of the Home.
You will be working Monday to Friday. Hours & salary to be discussed at interview.
Brief duties are as follows:
• Meeting & greeting visitors and professional individuals.
• Doing walkarounds and completing enquiries for prospective new residents.
• Dealing with incoming calls and transferring calls to the relevant department.
• You must be computer literate & able to use Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Preparing resident’s contracts on admission and setting up resident’s files.
• Attending meetings and taking notes.
• Maintaining the staff training matrix and booking staff on relevant training.
• Assisting staff with SCW Registration
• General office duties e.g., scanning, typing, filing, photocopying.
• Updating resident information.
• Checking the weekly time sheets and rotas & scanning to the Finance Office.
• Liaising with GPs, Dieticians and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Requesting and scanning prescriptions from the local Surgery and Boots.
• Booking appointments and ambulances etc.
• Ensuring staff have the relevant forms to keep their documentation updated.
• Organisation of the Admin, Nurses and Manager's Office.
