We are currently working with a leading Legal 500 firm in Reading that is looking for a talented Charities Lawyer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Charities lawyer or a lawyer with experience in Private Client and Trust work to become part of a supportive team.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Manage a set of client cases, ensuring they are handled efficiently and effectively.
2. Process client matters in a timely manner, keeping costs under control.
3. Uphold the firm's professional standards and meet quality expectations.
4. Keep clients well-informed about the range of services available at the firm.
5. Contribute to the firm's business development efforts, including networking and promoting services.
6. Ensure clients' needs are met with excellent service and attention to detail.
The successful candidate:
1. 0-3 years' PQE, but open to candidates with more experience if they meet the role's needs.
2. Experience advising on setting up charities, mergers, and partnerships.
3. Able to advise senior teams, boards, and trustees, with support when needed.
4. Comfortable training clients and speaking at events.
5. Skilled in drafting and reviewing contracts, including fundraising and grant agreements, and offering advice on Charity Law.
6. Eager to get involved in networking and business growth.
7. Driven to help grow the practice area and take on a key role within the firm.
