Salary: Scale E - Starts at £29,109 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £33,264 per annum

The Role
Are you an organised and proactive individual with a passion for supporting senior leadership in a dynamic environment? Dorset Police are seeking a highly motivated Business Support Officer to provide essential operational and administrative support to the Alliance Head of People (Resourcing & Development).
Role
In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth delivery of key priorities within the People Function. Acting as a key support to the Head of People, you will:
1. Manage and coordinate diaries to optimise time and efficiency.
2. Proactively handle emails, drafting responses and ensuring key communications are actioned.
3. Create agendas and track actions, following up to ensure completion.
4. Oversee and maintain OneNote for streamlined information sharing.
5. Support forward planning and ensure alignment with Force governance requirements.
6. Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings for strategic meetings.
7. Provide general support across the Alliance People Portfolio to help deliver key projects and objectives.
Skills And Qualifications

1. Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
2. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
3. A proactive mindset, taking initiative to anticipate needs and solve problems.
4. Confidence in working with senior leaders and handling confidential information.

Annual Leave Entitlement
