Job summary FULL & PART TIME ROLES AVAILABLE The post-holder will work alongside the pre and post operative team, for patients undergoing Local Anaesthetic for Hernia, Carpal Tunnel, Cataract, Vasectomy and Podiatry procedures. To work closely with the Patient Administration Team, Clinicians and Clinical Nursing Teams. To undertake patient facing clinical duties including circulating duties, admission, and discharging patients on the day of surgery. Main duties of the job Responsibilities include: Assist with assessment of the patient to ensure optimal fitness for surgery, including giving post-operative care and instructions. The post holder will work within their scope of practice, adhering to IHG policy. The post holder will manage their own caseload efficiently with support from the team to deliver timely care. To liaise with clinic staff and the referral team ensuring patients meet IHG and ICB criteria.
