What you will do:
As Treasury Team Lead, you will:
1. Manage Cash Flow: Take the lead in monitoring and forecasting cash flow to ensure NHS Highland has the resources needed for both operational and capital projects.
2. Lead a Team: Manage, support, and develop a team of friendly and professional financial service officers, helping them deliver their best.
3. Ensure accuracy: Oversee all transactions impacting cash and bank balances, making sure they are processed accurately and on time.
4. Drive innovation: Be part of our modernisation journey by contributing to the development of electronic business solutions that streamline and enhance our treasury operations.

1. A strong understanding of accounting practices, including ledger reconciliations, finance systems, coding structures, and cash accounting.
2. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and anomalies.

4. A proactive mindset, ready to take on challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
