We are looking for a dynamic individual to manage a mix of new, existing, and targeted partner accounts, with the goal of driving partner-sourced pipeline growth for our portfolio of vendors. You’ll work closely with vendor specialists, presales, marketing, and sales operations to recruit, enable, and scale partnerships. Your role will involve qualifying new partnerships, overseeing the onboarding process, and executing sales activities within an agreed go-to-market strategy to meet quarterly revenue targets.
Ignition Technology is a market-changing organization that specializes in the discovery and distribution of innovative and disruptive IT security and networking solutions to the IT community. You will be working on the newest and most incredible technologies, primarily focusing on Software, Cloud, and Software-as-a-service based solutions.
As the Channel Account Manager, you will:
* Understand our product offering and how it can complement your client’s needs.
* Identify and qualify new partners.
* Maintain and develop relationships to further enhance the reseller relationship.
* Work to achieve both individual and team targets against agreed profit requirements.
* Proactively work with the marketing team to create sales collateral for lead generation campaigns.
* Ensure internal systems are up to date with vendor price lists, collateral, discount structures, and processes.
* Produce monthly sales forecast reports and statistics for management.
* Implement and develop sales strategies to identify and close new business opportunities.
* Understand a diverse range of vendor products ensuring that knowledge of features and pricing is up to date.
* Articulate and promote the Ignition proposition.
* Attend Ignition Technology and partner webinars and events.
* Responsible for achieving growth and hitting sales targets around tangible results back to the business.
* Generate leads and arrange face-to-face meetings with potential new clients to increase visibility of the product and the brand across the UK.
* Sales administration ownership.
* Willing to be external 2-3 days a week and attend the Ignition office.
The Channel Account Manager will:
* 3+ years experience in channel IT Sales.
* Cyber Security experience preferred.
* Cold calling experience required. Looking for a challenger with a strong track record in lead development.
* Outgoing, engaging, and highly motivated, with a pro-active approach and strong business acumen.
* Collaborative and target-oriented.
* Experienced presenting to senior level contacts.
* Strong communication and analytical skills.
* Takes responsibility for personal development with a strong desire to work to and surpass targets.
* Ability to problem solve, identifying a client’s needs and respond accordingly.
* Be pro-active with a proven track record of account management and growth.
