Reporting to: Head of Account Management Location: Field-based Working Hours: 37.5 hours a week - Monday – Friday 8:30am – 17:00pm. Role: As an Account Manager, your role is to manage a portfolio of existing Snap Merchants. You will be required to retain, develop and strengthen the relationships with our current merchants, looking for ways to maximise merchant satisfaction and revenue. Your Key Tasks and Responsibilities will include: Actively manage and grow our existing retailers funding in line with business goals and budgets Produce Account Management plans ensuring you understand your merchants needs and business goals ensuring Snap is aligned Always looking for ways for Snap to deliver solutions for its merchants Be proactive in proposition development; feeding back market insight, retailer and customer requirements and competitor information to the product development teams Develop and capture appropriate account plans, with supporting contact strategies, target information and activity on CRM Work with the commercial team to effectively maximise business opportunities Use data effectively to drive proposals and understand merchant performance Conduct monthly/quarterly merchant reviews Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions. Be an ambassador for Snap and communicate our brand position and value To be successful in the role of an Account Manager we require the following skills and experience: Successful track record of building strong relationships with customers and colleagues. Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through effective Account Management techniques Retail finance or similar experience. UK Driver License Ability to travel daily within your assigned territory Knowledge of FCA regulations e.g., CONC, DISP and Consumer Duty. Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management. Experience with CRM software.
