Job Description
We are looking for a qualified or part-qualified accountant to join our quickly expanding team in our Financial Reporting Department.
To support our continued growth, we are looking for someone with an all-encompassing skillset, specialising in the production of statutory accounts for micro entities and SMEs.
Alongside the other managers you will both prepare and review accounts as well as coordinate the team to oversee the running of the department. You’ll have excellent communication skills, be proactive in problem-solving and adopt a professional yet friendly approach to building trusted and long-lasting relationships.
Job Role
• Work closely with senior members across the firm to plan and manage the team’s workload and exceed client expectations
• Prepare and review both single-entity and consolidated statutory accounts for companies, charities and LLPs
• Support trainees with their learning and development
• Delegate work assignments and provide feedback to junior members of the team
• Draft CT computations
• Support the firm with other duties as needed

The successful candidate
• A qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA)
• Up to date knowledge of UK Financial Reporting Standards and UK GAAP
• Be a dynamic and flexible individual who is able to prioritise
• A working knowledge of CaseWare is highly desirable
• Excellent time management and organisation skills
• Demonstrate good inter-personal skills to ensure sound communication with clients and across the team
• Previous supervisory and mentorship experience
• Deliver a high standard of work whilst meeting deadlines
