We are the largest Further Education College in the UK providing education and training to a wide range of learners.\n\nWe have an exciting opportunity at our City Campus to join our Creative Industries Department as an Achievement Tutor (Visual Arts) on a permanent, part-time (17.5 hours per week) basis.\n\nAs directed by the Head of Department English, maths, and Progress, manage allocated students/groups students, and deliver a highly effective tutorial and pastoral programme which ensures the overall academic, pastoral, social and behavioural progress of students is tracked and supported so students achieve outstanding retention, achievement, progress, and progression outcomes.\n\nIn order to do this, you will need:\n\nCertificate of education or PGCE.\nCurrent and valid industry specialism.\nAssessor qualifications (if required by Awarding Organisation).\nMinimum Level 3 occupational qualification.\nEnglish and maths minimum level 2 Grace C or grade 4 and above.\nExperience of working within the Visual Arts sector.Benefits\n\nSuccessful candidates will be offered a salary of between * Pro Rata £14,150 - £22,225.50 (FTE £28,300 - £44,451) per annum, depending on your level of experience.\n\nOur Colleagues also receive:\n\n56 days annual leave.
