Sharp has an excellent new opportunity for a Regional Product Specialist for Sharp’s Visual Solutions portfolio. This is a Presales role where you will support the sales teams to enable the sale and growth of Sharp’s Audio-Visual Solutions portfolio to existing and new customers. The role includes advising customers to ensure correct products and services are proposed and supplied. Delivering comprehensive documentation and design to ensure the key features, functions and benefits of the Sharp Range are proposed. Project managing complex installations. Delivering product portfolio awareness and training to colleagues. We are looking for an individual with presales experience in the audiovisual sector, based in the North of England within commutable distance of Warrington or Wakefield. Responsibilities Support all Sales teams in a customer-facing role to advise, recommend and propose Visual Solutions with a focus on the Sharp and Sharp/NEC portfolio Demonstrate products with knowledge and confidence, highlighting the key features and benefits to customers and how the proposed product will meet their challenges Attend Exhibitions and events to promote the Sharp portfolio to potential and existing clients Confidently and effectively design and deliver presentations to clients and colleagues to effectively showcase the Sharp Visual Solutions range of products and services. Understand customer needs/challenges and identify ways to improve their workplace through Visual Solutions and associated technology Design AV solutions based on customer requirements, incorporating products from the Sharp and Sharp/NEC portfolio, combined with products from key partners. Deliver end user training for deployed solutions Conduct detailed site surveys, often working with the installation team to advise on how the solution can be deployed Author proposal documents for Visual Solutions to together with pricing and benefits. Project manage more complex installations Develop and maintain an extensive knowledge of the Sharp Visual Solutions product range so as to impart that knowledge to the sales teams, empowering them to identify new Visual Solutions opportunities more effectively. Build knowledge and achieve relevant accreditation for wider products and services supplied by Sharp Offer expertise to the wider business to facilitate effective responses for Visual Solutions tenders Attend departmental sales meetings to keep account manager sales teams appraised of new products and services in the Sharp /NEC VS range Achieve targets and KPIs as set by the National Visual Solutions Business Manager Personal Specification Pre Sales/project management experience within the AV sector. A strong understanding of industry AV and associated technologies Highly developed business management skills Excellent MS Office skills Ability to work flexibly, under pressure and to meet challenging deadlines Good verbal and written communication skills to build rapport and maintain customer relations. Ability to confidently present to a variety of audiences.
