The Role
Acting as Registered Manager and Safeguarding Lead, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of residential bungalows. You’ll lead a dedicated team to deliver outstanding care, maintain regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership & Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the children’s bungalows, ensuring care services meet required standards set by OFSTED.
* Team Management: Lead and motivate an operational team, providing supervision and professional development.
* Compliance & Safeguarding: Ensure compliance with safeguarding protocols and statutory requirements, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
* Resource Management: Optimise operational systems and ensure resources are efficiently allocated.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with families, colleagues, and external partners to ensure a collaborative approach to care.
Skills and Qualifications
* Experience: Proven experience in managing residential services, ideally in children’s or specialist care settings.
* Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a focus on compliance and care standards.
* Knowledge: In-depth understanding of OFSTED standards and regulations.
* Qualities: Compassionate, resilient, and resourceful, with a passion for leading a high-performing team.
