Band 6 Locum General Radiographer Location: Milton Keynes Start Date: 05/02/2025 Duration: 1 month Working Hours: 40 hours per week Pay Rate: £27.00 P/H An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Band 6 Locum General Radiographer to join a dedicated radiology team in Milton Keynes. Starting on 5th February 2025, this full-time role offers a pay rate of £27.00 per hour and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week for a duration of one month. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will perform a range of general radiographic procedures to assist in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will be responsible for operating imaging equipment efficiently and safely, ensuring compliance with radiation protection standards. Working closely with other healthcare professionals, you will provide compassionate care to patients, addressing their needs and concerns during imaging procedures. Additional duties include maintaining accurate patient records, managing equipment, and adhering to departmental protocols and best practices to uphold the highest standards of service. Requirements: Registration with the HCPC as a Diagnostic Radiographer Demonstrable experience in general radiography, including handling a variety of imaging equipment Knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance procedures Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Previous experience in a locum role (preferred but not essential) Availability for a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week Why work with Pulse?
