Key Responsibilities:
1. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
2. Perform fault diagnosis and repairs to minimise equipment downtime.
3. Address breakdowns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
Preventive Maintenance:
1. Conduct planned and preventive maintenance to optimise equipment reliability.
2. Support the implementation of predictive maintenance programmes.
Safety & Compliance:
1. Ensure all activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
2. Maintain compliance with environmental standards, supporting sustainability goals.
Documentation & Reporting:
1. Accurately record completed tasks, parts used, and issues identified in the CMMS.
2. Communicate effectively during shift handovers to ensure continuity.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Completed apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering.
* Relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent.
* Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or FMCG sector.
* Proficient in the use of CMMS and Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
