Summary: We are looking for an attentive, engaging and detail-oriented person to join a service-driven team providing a modern online retail experience that surpasses expectations. You will be instrumental in understanding customers’ needs and following up with the right solutions. You’ll guide, advise and help our customers throughout their order journey. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This fixed-term, five-month role will assist us in continuing to deliver amazing service through our seasonal peak period with a potential permanent opportunity at the end of the contract. Responsibilities: Building relationships with customers via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner working creatively to solve challenges and issues in a satisfactory manner Provide product and service information to customers Process orders, returns, and exchanges Maintain accurate customer records and documentation Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction Continuously improve customer service skills and knowledge of products and services Qualifications: GCSE or equivalent 1-2 years of customer service experience Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively About us We are an innovative e-commerce company specialising in made-to-order clothing. Location: We are based in Burgess Hill, Sussex, UK. It is optional to work on-site (Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays) or remotely, Tuesdays & Thursdays are generally office-based. Owing to the nature of the role, a local candidate within commuting distance will be preferred. You will be required to work on-site during the initial training period ( 1 month).
