The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement within the organisation and partnering with our Head of Procurement to help us achieve our lofty ambitions at Frive. You will be accountabkle for ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services and overseeing x2 Supply Chain Planners. This role will require strong negotiation skills, an incredible work ethic, and resilience to work under pressure with deadlines You will work collaboratively with internal partners and external suppliers. Responsibilities: Supplier Network Development and Management Develop and optimise the supplier network to ensure a robust and efficient supply chain. Manage supply risk by building a strong supplier base aligned with company objectives, values, and emerging product needs. Work together with the Head of Procurement to target a reduction in the number of suppliers from approximately fifty to below twenty. Take full ownership of commercial vendor relationships, fostering strong partnerships. Supplier Selection and Negotiation Select suppliers and lead negotiations across various categories to secure favourable terms. Define and execute cross-functional procurement projects, ensuring best-in-class operations. Strategic Sourcing and Cost Optimisation Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities by leveraging volume and improving processes. Refine and implement sourcing and supply chain strategies to optimise processes, reduce risks, and enhance profitability Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to ensure the best value for the organisation. Leverage internal datasets and industry benchmarks (e.g., market, supplier, and SKU analysis) to drive continuous improvement and implement best practices. Operational Efficiency and Innovation Provide innovation and strategic leadership to identify additional cost and operational efficiencies across the supply chain in both food and non-food categories. Foster a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven reporting, effective project management, retrospectives, and by identifying new capabilities and processes that drive efficiency. Continuously improve end-to-end sourcing processes to enhance operational efficiency. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Partnerships Collaborate with the New Product Development (NPD) team to prioritise and develop new products that deliver immediate and sustained benefits to the company and its customers. Partner with the menu strategy team to develop roadmaps and provide expertise and direction on the PHF category. Work cross-functionally with all internal stakeholders to deliver optimal value to customers. Leadership and Team Support Manage, support, and cover forecasting and goods-in teams. Provide reporting for director-level reviews across all UK operations. Project and Business Case Development Prepare business cases for large procurement and supply chain projects, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy. About you?
