This role is one of two Band 8a Clinical Leads in the Paediatric team, and will focus specifically on ages 0-7 years. As a team, you will work together to provide day to day operational support to the wider team. This will include job planning, line management responsibilities, representing SLT at Health Board wide meetings, and partnership working with other departments and outside agencies. You will also be involved in commissioning new services for the team, alongside managing therapists employed outside of our immediate department.
You will ensure the efficient operationalisation of clinical pathways, constantly seeking improvements and prudency, influenced by our parents, patients and key stakeholders.
You will form part of the department's Senior Management Team, and will be expected to be confident in providing and analysing performance data, managing waiting times, and have an excellent understanding of demand and capacity activities. This role also focuses on supporting the department's quality standards, research and development strategy, audit and outcome measures.
