Job description
Our client is looking for an experienced Crane Instructor to join their team in Aberdeen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crane operations and a passion for teaching others. This role is suited for professionals who have hands-on experience in crane operations and are keen to share their knowledge and expertise with others.
While prior training experience is not essential, a willingness to learn and deliver training is a must. Full training will be provided to develop your teaching skills, though candidates with a background in training or safety instruction are preferred.
Job requirements
* Strong technical competence with minimum 3 years demonstrated offshore crane experience.
* Offshore Crane Operator Stage 3 or G5 Offshore crane certification.
* Rigging and slinging competence and LOLER Competent Person certification.
* SQA Level 9 assessor qualification or similar.
* Desirable knowledge of UK and/or Norwegian lifting operations standards such as LOLER, BS 7121 & NORSOK R-003.
* Desirable experience in lifting related support functions or onshore, such as lifting supervisor, Project Manager, HSE, Technical Excellence, or similar.
* Desirable experience with heavy lift crane operations and lifting operations manuals.
* Preferably experience from delivering training and developing the skills of others.
* Experience using Microsoft Office.
