Description
As a Payroll manager you will be responsible for:
Oversee all aspects of the payroll function for the organisation.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll queries.
Coordinate with HR department to ensure correct employee data.
Manage and prepare reports for upper management, finance department and auditors.
Lead, guide and manage the payroll team to provide accurate, timely and professional service.Profile
A successful Group Payroll Manager should have:
A degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
