Adult Skills Tutor and Curriculum Development Co-ordinator (37 hours per week) Fixed Term until 31 July 2025
Strode College is looking for a passionate and inspirational tutor/co-ordinator to provide training and delivery of our short courses to adults and to assist in the development of new short courses. We are seeking a motivated individual to deliver our bespoke adult courses at the college, remotely online, and at other venues in the local area. We are looking for tutors who have experience or qualifications in some/all the following areas:
1. Mental Health and Wellbeing
2. Business Administration
3. Customer Service
4. Information, Advice and Guidance
5. Employability
The tutor will be responsible for managing the student learning experience from interview, training, through to assessment of work, providing feedback on assignments, and guiding the learners through their course. You will be required to support a diverse range of learners to make progress and achieve their qualifications and individual goals. A teaching qualification is desirable but can be worked towards on successful appointment.
As part of this role, the successful person will also assist in developing short courses for adults, both non-accredited and accredited, to support the team in growing their adult course offer. Experience in curriculum development would be beneficial. This would include researching courses, planning delivery, co-ordinating tutors, and working with other internal and external departments to market the courses.

Contractual Details
Rate of Pay or Salary: £17.01 per hour, 37 hours per week.
