International manufacturer requires a Warehouse Manager. Applicants need experience as a Warehouse Manager (or equivalent), have strong inventory management (PI, cycle counts) skills, analytical abilities, and an appreciation of end-to-end warehousing processes.
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for people, processes, and systems, ensuring materials are effectively received, stored, picked, and dispatched in line with company objectives. The Warehouse Manager will work closely with the company inventory, leading perpetual stock counts and overseeing daily cycle counts, ensuring inventory levels are accurately recorded in ERP/WMS. The role also has analytical and commercial elements, with the Warehouse Manager supporting SIOP activities and continuously developing WMS/ERP systems using data analysis tools (MS Excel, Power BI, etc).

Specific duties of the Warehouse Manager include:
1. An effective, compliant, and H&S conscious end-to-end warehousing offering
2. An organised and effectively labelled storage area
3. Inventory Management and reporting - perpetual inventory counts, cycle counts, maintain optimal stock levels, minimize errors
4. Stakeholder collaboration with the wider supply chain team to understand likely inventory/material demands and support SIOP processes
5. Monitor performance of 3PL partners
6. Provide leadership to a team of Operatives, predominantly through a Logistics Team Leader
7. Collaborate with senior leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives through the warehouse function
Warehouse Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:
1. Experience in Warehouse Management, Warehouse Leadership, or an internally focused Logistics leadership role
2. Effective and experienced inventory manager - well versed in LEAN methods, perpetual inventory, cycle counts, inventory profiling, etc.
3. Experienced in systems; MRP, ERP, WMS, and analytically minded, able to use MS Excel, etc.
4. Experience of managing, mentoring, and leading staff
5. Knowledge of outbound logistics processes, shipping/customs processes - advantageous
