Helpdesk Assistant - Hatfield, Hertfordshire - Up to £12.50 per hour
Are you an experienced Helpdesk Assistant looking for a new challenge? Do you have a background in facilities management? If so, we'd love to hear from you! CBW is currently recruiting for a Helpdesk Assistant role with a well-established FM service provider based in Hertfordshire.
In this role, you'll be responsible for typical Helpdesk Assistant duties, including:
1. Placing orders for planned maintenance and minor works as required.
2. Answering, screening, and transferring inbound phone calls, emails, and portal requests to our help desk.
3. Distributing tasks from the help desk to the relevant facilities team.
4. Closing tasks down after completion by the facilities team.
5. Coordinating office moves with PA/secretarial teams.
6. Performing general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, and mailing.
7. Maintaining electronic and hard copy filing systems.
8. Retrieving documents from the filing system.
9. Handling requests for information and data.
10. Resolving administrative problems and inquiries.
11. Scheduling and coordinating appointments and travel arrangements for facilities move teams.
12. Opening, sorting, and distributing incoming invoices.
13. Maintaining office supply inventories.
14. Coordinating maintenance of office equipment.
15. Coordinating and maintaining records for parking and petty cash.
Requirements:
1. At least 3 years in the maintenance industry.
2. Must be confident as you will be dealing with customer issues.
3. Knowledge of scheduling engineers' daily routes.
4. Knowledge of scheduling systems.
5. Must be able to invoice.
6. Knowledge of raising purchase orders.
7. Good communication skills as you will be dealing with engineers and clients.
