Vivid's client in the East Midlands is looking for a Senior Rent and Service Charge Analyst for an initial period of six months with the possibility to extend.
Main duties:
1. Prepare and send rent and service charges notifications to all residents.
2. Ensure leasehold management and service charges are applied accurately and within terms of the leases and current legislation.
3. Set and monitor rent and service charge income budgets and budgets for all other income including reconciliations of income accounts and income related balance sheet accounts.
4. Deal with queries regarding service charges, including complaints.
5. Carry out associated functions to ensure rent and service charge collection is managed efficiently across the business.
What are they looking for?
1. A candidate with experience in service charge accountancy.
2. Someone with experience in budget setting, forecasting and experience of the housing sector or property development sector.
3. A candidate with an aptitude for IT and in particular Excel.
4. Someone with a positive can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
