Reporting to the Work Load Co-ordinator, you will, under supervision and leadership carry out maintenance duties throughout the hospital and other unit premises and undertaking supervised routine maintenance to carry out the repair/maintenance and installation of complex plant and equipment associated with premises administered by the Estates & Facilities Division.
You will carry out your duties to a high standard in an efficient and timely manner and will be required to carry out as required, following successful completion of relevant training and where you are deemed competent, duties in other trades appertaining to Estates & Facilities and the operational function of the Division, in the pursuit of a fully flexible workforce. There will also be a need to provide sickness and annual leave cover for the section., The Estates Maintenance Department provides a varied range of building and engineering services to Mid Cheshire Hospitals Foundation Trust in order to maintain the buildings and associated services in line with current legislation and standards. The department is committed to the ongoing training of their staff to a high standard in order to comply with legislation and to ensure that the patient environment is maintained so as to be safe but in a cost effective and efficient manner.
