We are currently recruiting for an Evaluation Analyst on a hybrid basis, two/three days from our HQ in Coventry and the remainder working remotely from home.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small yet specialist performance and evaluation team with responsibility for researching, collating, analysing, interpreting, and clearly communicating evaluation of work programmes delivered by the business.
We are looking for a confident and proactive individual with a degree in economics, agriculture, or another numerate discipline. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a variety of Microsoft applications and have experience of evaluation best practices. Additional experience with data analysis tools would be advantageous but is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Senior Evaluation Manager in the development of plans to evaluate the impact of AHDB projects and programmes.
* Work with the Head of Performance & Evaluation in business planning to prepare and disseminate analysis, interpretation and commentary, relating to AHDB’s performance on a monthly basis.
* Assist in developing processes and methodologies, ensuring the ongoing accuracy and effectiveness of outputs.
* Contribute to projects in consultation with other staff, such as feedback surveys and project reviews.
* Keep abreast of appropriate industry developments to proactively ensure outputs develop in the correct context.
* Keep regular contact with and build relationships with internal stakeholders.
* Take ownership of the core delivery schedule for the monthly business plan and ensure accuracy of reports.
Minimum Requirements:
* Degree qualified in economics/agriculture or another numerate discipline, or equivalent experience.
* Experience of good practice in evaluation.
* Excellent people skills with the ability to build good rapport with a variety of stakeholders – use of scheduling and virtual meeting tools is essential.
* Experience of using MS Office applications such as OneNote, Teams (Planner) and Excel; experience of using data analysis tools would be desirable but is not essential.
* Knowledge of the UK agricultural industry and food supply chain is desirable.
