The Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of business customers, ensuring the highest levels of service, satisfaction, and sales growth. The role requires a proactive approach to account development, understanding customer needs, and delivering tailored solutions across our broad product range. Description Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts to maximise sales opportunities and customer satisfaction. Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers within existing and prospective accounts. Understand customer businesses and challenges to recommend solutions that add value and drive efficiency. Achieve and exceed sales targets, growth goals, and KPIs. Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our client's footprint within existing accounts. Collaborate closely with internal teams (customer service, supply chain, operations) to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain accurate account records, sales forecasts, and activity reports using CRM systems. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to spot opportunities for products and services. Represent our client professionally at meetings, trade shows, and customer events. Profile Proven success in B2B account management, business development, or sales. Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to customer engagement and problem-solving. Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively. Experience in industrial supplies, engineering, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), or a similar sector is advantageous but not essential.
