Job Details We are looking for a highly-skilled individual to be part of the school leadership team, who is passionate about improving life chances for all through commitment to leading change and improvement that ensures positives outcomes for our children and young people. As a manager in Fife you will be responsible for supporting the School Management Team in developing the strategic direction of the school, implementing and pursuing the objectives set in policies, and for contributing to the development of a self-improving system across the education community and beyond. The Business Manager role will manage functions within the school, to ensure a high quality support service, strategic planning and accountability in the context of statutory, council and school policy. To participate as a member of the school management team and to act as a business contact between the school, the Education Service and other partners. Qualification, Registration and Skill Requirements You are required to have high levels of interpersonal skills and abilities which will enable you to contribute to the leadership and management of the school community, both at strategic and operational levels, to ensure continuous improvement. Educated to SCQF level 9, which includes a Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline e.g. Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, Administration Considerable experience within a relevant environment, in a senior or managerial role with budget and management responsibilities to enable you to provide effective advice and support to the head teacher Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
