Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Liverpool City Council's Fostering - Families and Friends Team as a Deputy Team Manager. This is a full time role offering a fantastic pay rate of £38 per hour.

Responsibilities:
11. SupporT the Team Manager to manage a diversely skilled social work team, supporting and promoting good quality practice and performance.
12. Be confident in making clear and accurate decisions to improve outcomes for children and young people and maintaining stable foster care placements.
13. Work at pace with preparation for Ofsted Monitoring Visits and in line with our improvement plan.
14. Bring knowledge and expertise to the role to work in order to make effective decisions in recruiting and assessing our foster carers in ensuring we offer the best stable placements for our children and young people.
15. Attend court as and when necessary.
16. Contribute to the overall development of services for children and their families.
17. Promote the welfare of children and young people in accordance with the Children Act 1989 criteria, and taking account of other relevant legislation as appropriate.
18. Work in accordance with national and local policies and procedures, and using the law, regulatory and statutory guidance to inform practice decisions.
Requirements:
19. Social Work Degree or equivalent
20. Social Work England registered
21. Enhanced DBS
