Job Description: Inside Sales Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Inside Sales Manager to lead our inside sales team and drive revenue growth using the Fortive Business System (FBS) principles. In this role, you will develop, implement, and sustain scalable sales strategies while fostering a high-performance culture rooted in continuous improvement. Your ability to apply FBS tools and methodologies to optimize sales processes and achieve operational excellence will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy:
1. Lead and inspire the inside sales team to achieve and exceed revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
2. Use FBS Leadership Fundamentals to build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and engagement.
3. Partner with Marketing Director to develop strategies for quality lead generation.
4. Enable team to drive strategic initiatives and increases in funnel.
5. Drive alignment with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent customer value delivery.
Sales Process Excellence:
1. Deploy FBS Growth tools (e.g., Funnel Management, Problem Solving Process) to optimize lead generation, conversion rates, and pipeline velocity.
2. Implement and sustain standard work for the inside sales team, ensuring consistency and scalability in sales operations.
3. Leverage Daily Management practices to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify gaps, and drive corrective actions.
Talent Development:
1. Leverage Kaizens to develop and coach high-performing sales talent.
2. Foster an environment of continuous improvement, enabling team members to achieve professional growth and business results.
Customer-Centric Growth:
1. Champion Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives to refine sales strategies and prioritize high-impact opportunities.
2. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align customer insights with go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Strong knowledge of Fortive Business System (FBS) principles and tools.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and process improvement.
Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
