About the Role
Are you looking to make an impact in a growing business? Can you bring innovative and fresh ideas to help improve the future of our business? The key responsibilities as our IT Coordinator include:
• Engage and contribute in projects that will develop and improve the productivity in all departments.
• Ensuring Information Systems are operational at all times.
• Provide help desk support to approximately 50 users within our facility.
• Ensure all software is legal and licenses are up to date.
• Ensure all software and firmware are up to date with the latest versions.
• Manage the procurement of Information System equipment including client hardware, server hardware and network hardware.
• Maintain support contracts, domain name registrations and other repeating services sourcing the most secure and competitive suppliers.
• Monitor automated backup systems.
• Create and update IT procedures for end users and document all MIS processes.
What we are looking for in you:
• Excellent troubleshooting skills. Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Experience in maintaining and creating Visual Basic code to run within an established ERP system, within Office documents and in standalone Windows applications.
• The ability to write Structured Query Language (SQL) notably with Microsoft SQL Server to assist in managing data within an ERP system.
• Experience editing and creating SAP Crystal Report templates, in particular working with reports that interface with an SQL Server database.
• Experience in configuring TCP/IP based networks.
• Reliable, responsible and trustworthy with a self-motivated attitude.
• A general interest in all aspects of Information Systems with a desire to stay abreast of new technologies.
• Experience in an Information System Department is essential.
• Industry-recognised accreditations is preferred however not essential.

• Full time hours Monday to Friday. Minimum of 35 hours per week – flexibility will be shown to candidates with regards to hours or hybrid working, however the majority of this position requires attendance within the facility.
• This contract is permanent and we hope the successful candidate grows within the company and becomes an integral part of the success and modernisation of every department.
• Full training will be given in-house by our present MIS Co-ordinator until the end of August.
• Access to online training and external class-based training when required for the growth of the position and the benefit of the company.
