Salary: M1 – UPS 3 (£31,650 - £49,084)
Tewkesbury Academy is looking for a passionate and inspiring qualified Teacher of Science to join our supportive and talented team. We are a growing organization, seeking professional, ambitious individuals with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.
Tewkesbury Academy is part of the Cabot Learning Federation and is a well-established school at the heart of the historic market town of Tewkesbury, providing education to over 1200 students aged 11-18. We are conveniently located at Junction 9 of the M5 and close to the Cotswolds, Malvern Hills, and historic towns of Gloucester, Worcester, and Cheltenham.

Training is available locally and through the CLF Institute, which provides a continuum of development from initial teacher training (ITT) to leadership stages through to Headship.
What we are looking for:
We seek passionate individuals who want to transform education and contribute to the development of the Cabot Learning Federation. You should be experienced in planning and delivering high-quality lessons, with strong communication skills, the ability to embrace change, and motivate colleagues and students. You must hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree, with the ability to teach Key Stage 5. We welcome applications from any specialism and look for professionals with excellent class management skills and high expectations of work and behavior.
Your duties will include:
* Planning outstanding lessons that meet the needs of all students and developing a high-quality program of study with accurate target setting.
* Monitoring and reporting on student progress, taking appropriate action to ensure all students achieve their potential through exceptional feedback methods.
* Meeting the needs of learners from key identified groups, including pupil premium, looked after children, SEND, and high-attaining students.
* Recognizing, valuing, and supporting opportunities that extend beyond classroom delivery to enrich students' experiences and learning.
* Developing your own expert practice and supporting the development of others.
