Are you a warehouse supervisor searching for an organisation that is a market leader and can offer genuine progression prospects?
If so, then we currently have an exciting opportunity for you to consider
* We are looking for you to become a key member of the Supply Chain function, where you will take responsibility for working alongside and leading the warehouse team and delivering of all warehousing duties on shift.
* Maintaining a high level of stock control, management and rotation including ingredients, packaging, and finished goods (chilled and frozen).
* Ensuring accurate stock counts are recorded, goods in are managed, orders picked, paperwork completed, and production serviced.
* Managing all outbound functions within this busy warehouse environment
* Implementing strategy, improvement processes whilst delivering on output targets
* Managing the outbound teams effectively through management of KPI & ASH targets
If the above sounds like you then we are looking for you to:
* Attend/lead daily hand over meetings with the Warehouse Manager, Inbound Warehouse Supervisor and Nights, Weekend team, Admin Team
* Organise, direct and lead the team by example ensuring all daily tasks are completed - recognising that the Outbound Supervisor will have a hands-on role as part of the team.
* Overall responsibility for the delivery of warehousing duties to the required standards and completed in a timely manner, being the key point of contact on shift.
* Effective management of the 700-pallet onsite freezer ensuring the location of stock is accurately recorded, part and on hold pallets are managed back into circulation and adequate space made available for daily production / stock returned from storage. Finished Goods/WIP stock to be managed effectively and rotated under the FIFO principle
* Ensure stock is accurately recorded (description, location, formats and quantities) on a daily/weekly basis to allow for effective re-ordering, offsite/onsite transfers, servicing of orders and production decisions to be made.
* Oversee daily picking ensuring schedules are followed, stock is rotated effectively and picking targets are met (volume and accuracy) ahead of the outbound delivery window
* Maintain team awareness through regular team briefings with continual improvement sought. Ensure constructive feedback is recognised and that ideas and suggestions are passed on to the Warehouse Manager.
* Oversee daily picking ensuring schedules are followed, stock is rotated effectively and picking targets are met (volume and accuracy) ahead of the outbound delivery window
* Identify areas of improvement with regards to warehousing activities and implement new procedures as agreed with the Warehouse Manager - specific attention to be placed on improving stock organisation and recording of movements
