As a Process Technician at our Stoke HSSU Hub, you'll bring a basic standard of general education with proven literacy and numeracy skills. You're organised with good communication skills - and ideally, you're able to show evidence of sterile services training.
Main duties of the job
As a Decontamination Process Technician, you will:
* Dismantle and prepare and sterilise Medical Instruments ready for Theatre Surgery
* Inspect and maintain instruments to a high standard
* Help to ensure all equipment is in good working order
* Regularly check medical equipment for damage and report any faults
* Work with a strong friendly team
* Take on training as required
* Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
* Take action to resolve any problems
* Escalate issues where necessary
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with our policies and procedures
* Handle manual handling duties up to 13kg.
* Have strong attention to detail and an overarching desire to deliver a high quality service.

£12.21 per hour
Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability which is mainly weekends - Mid week working can be offered also.
Please note this is not based at the Clayton Nuffield Hospital. post code ST5 7UF.
