How You'll Help Us Grow As our Marketing Manager for subscriptions, you'll play a central role in attracting, engaging, and converting high-value audiences across TheLawyer.com. Reporting into the Marketing Director, and working closely with Sales, Research, Editorial, you’ll design and deliver integrated campaigns that drive commercial performance and deepen audience engagement. We are seeking someone who is passionate about both how marketing is done today and how it can be driven forward and improved. A strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills to develop compelling marketing campaigns that support user engagement and new business commercial growth. A great communicator, you will manage relationships with ease aligning marketing efforts with business priorities to maximise results. Key Responsibilities: Developing and executing multi-channel B2B strategic marketing plans to support subscription acquisition and user engagement. Staying on top of industry trends, audience behaviour, and competitor activity to uncover new opportunities for marketing improvements, smarter processes, and standout sales collateral. Creating persona-based campaigns to drive subscriber usage and habitual engagement with our paid content. Utilising Piano our data management platform to create and execute effective targeted marketing messaging. Collaborating with the content and research teams to develop compelling content marketing lead generation and engagement activity. Implementing successful integrated marketing campaigns, using full marketing mix, that deliver agreed targets within budget and on schedule. Using data analytics to guide decisions and optimise strategies. Managing and developing all sales and marketing brand collateral that supports our commercial storytelling. Writing high quality, compelling copy, which is accurate and grammatically correct, making sure that all communications demonstrate the defined value proposition for the brand. Partnering closely with the sales team on new business initiatives, including lead tracking and performance insight. Provide regular reporting to communicate progress presenting marketing insights, campaign results and strategic recommendations. Manage our social media agency relationship to maximise performance. Work with the Marketing Director to define marketing goals, KPI’s and budgets in collaboration with annual business objectives. Skills and Experience: 3 years in B2B marketing, preferably in corporate subscriptions, media or professional services. Strong copywriting and communication skills, with a talent for translating ideas into clear, compelling messaging that resonates with B2B audiences. Experience in running account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and campaigns. Skilled in data analysis and confident using performance insights to shape strategy. A strong grasp of the full marketing mix, especially email marketing and social media. Hands-on experience with Pardot and Salesforce (or similar CRM/Marketing automation platforms).
