The Head of Communications leads strategic planning, development and delivery of an engaging programme of content and resources designed to create meaningful opportunities for our audiences to connect, volunteer and philanthropically support LSE, with emphasis on our Shaping the World Campaign. We are seeking an experienced communications professional who can lead the PAGE Communications team (currently six members) in planning, creating and delivering content in support of our goals. This also includes managing how we articulate the need for our Shaping the World Campaign and celebrate its impact. This senior role involves significant collaboration with School-wide stakeholders and manages relationships with senior alumni volunteers around the world. We would welcome applications from candidates with demonstrable excellence in: - Managing an advancement communications or equivalent team with responsibility for engagement, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship content and resources for a global audience. - Leadership, with strong skills and a collaborative style, with a proven record of delivering outcomes at speed. - Communication and written skills, including distilling complex content into accessible and powerful cases for support, presenting and influencing at a senior level, understanding others’ needs and motivations, and resolving problems.
