Job summary We are recruiting for fixed term, maternity leave cover band 6 within the Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy team in St Helens. You will be responsible for ensuring service users' needs are met through delivery of high quality care, working collaboratively in variety of settings including patients homes, schools, nurseries, children's centres & clinics. You will be supported to provide assessment & appropriate interventions in the management of paediatric conditions, offering a range of 1:1 & group based interventions, training and programmes of care. Caseloads are likely to include children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs. Access regular 1:1 and group supervision and. You will be supported to develop your skills in offering supervision and have involvement in supervision of students. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the evidence base and a range of treatment options to formulate individualised and holistic treatment programmes within the parameters of the service. Demonstrate flexibility to respond to the needs of the service and be responsible for a designated area of work.
