Registered Care Home Manager – Vacancy Reference PK62313 Monday to Friday, full time, permanent role £(phone number removed) per annum 42 bedded Nursing Home, Good CQC in all areas This beautiful Nursing Home is looking for a motivated Registered Manager to maintain the good reputation of the service and strive for excellence. Within the Registered Manager role, you will be leading a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to ensure that your residents are cared for and supported to the highest standards possible. The current Home Manager is looking to step away from the company after a number of years in post, however they will be available for a comprehensive handover to the successful candidate to give them the best start possible. The new Registered Manager will also benefit from the support of a full time Business & Finance Manager who deals with aspects such as payroll, as well as a supportive and visible Owner who supports with the marketing of the home. As Registered Care Home Manager you will hold overall responsibility for the service shared with the Deputy Manager and will play a key role in ensuring that the company’s high standards are implemented and adhered to throughout the service. In return you will be working with a stable and established employer who is more than willing to support and develop the right individual to become a successful Registered Home Manager. Care Home Registered Manager Skills and Experience: Preferably 2 or more years of managerial experience within Care Homes NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care / Registered Managers Award or NMC PIN (Preferred but not essential) Have a strong understanding of CQC regulations and requirements, safeguarding and care plans An excellent communicator with experience in leading and motivating a varied staff team Care Home Registered Manager Duties will include: Undertaking the day to day management of the home according to the policies of the Employer and the requirements of the Health & Social Care Act 2008 & 2012 and subsequent amendments. Overall responsibility of the care home shared with the Deputy Manager Liaising with local authorities and governing bodies such as CQC to ensure the consistency and wellbeing in the home.
