Site Manager (Electrical)

At NPP, we are working closely with one of our large, rapidly growing M&E partners, who are seeking a proactive professional to take charge of on-site operations, ensuring smooth project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
About the Role:
As a Site Manager, you will be the key connection between clients and project teams, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. You will oversee the day-to-day management of site activities, coordinate logistics, and lead a team of skilled professionals to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and support a team of electricians and technicians, conducting performance reviews and fostering a culture of excellence.
* Project Coordination: Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to specification.
* Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict health and safety protocols, carrying out regular site audits and ensuring adherence to regulations.
* Resource Management: Efficiently allocate personnel, materials, and equipment to optimise productivity and minimise downtime.
* Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns promptly and ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes.
* Budget Oversight: Monitor costs and identify areas for savings without compromising quality or safety.
* Technical Expertise: Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, providing technical guidance where needed.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience managing electrical small works contracts.
* Background in hygienic industries (food, beverage, pharmaceutical) preferred.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
* Proficiency in MS Project or similar project management tools.
* Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications:
* Electrical qualifications.
* 18th Edition certification.
