If you want this and are willing to put the effort in we are offering a sales apprenticeship which will convert to a full sales position after 12 months.
Position Summary
The primary role of the Scientific Sales Apprentice is to drive and support new business for Tucsen Photonics, increase sales and help establish it as a respected brand in the United Kingdom, Europe and USA.
The role is split into 3 parts: Sales Prospecting & Follow up (50%), Development (25%), and Administration (25%).
Essential Functions
Sales Prospecting & Follow Up (50%)
* Conduct outbound prospecting through phone, email, and social media channels.
* Represent Tucsen Photonics at industry events, engaging with potential prospects and building networks.
* Qualify leads generated through outbound efforts to identify high-potential opportunities.
* Arrange appointments and coordinate product demonstrations for Senior Sales Managers.
* Collaborate closely with various worldwide departments, including Sales, Operations, and Marketing, to align efforts and drive results.
* Consistently meet or exceed performance KPIs and sales targets.
* Gain a thorough understanding of the sales process and the tools necessary for success.
* Begin identifying potential accounts for expansion or the introduction of new product lines.
* Partner with mentors to establish personal goals and progress through the promotion process.
Development (25%)
* Scientific Camera Technology Training
* Sales Process Training
* Product Demonstration
* Application Training
Administration (25%)
* Assisting with loans and shipments
* Adding data to systems (CRM, Website, etc.)
* Assisting with technical support and research projects

* Degree in Physics or Chemistry

Working Conditions
* Office based (Central Birmingham)
* Flexible working schedule (start between 7am and 10am)
* Flexible working location (20% work from home after probation)
* Some travel as required
* 25 days annual holiday
* Y1 £24,000 base salary + £4,000 on target commission.
* Y2 £28,000 base salary + £12,000 on target commission.
* Uncapped Commission
