Quality Inspector Rate: £20 per hour (Umbrella) Job: Ongoing contract (inside IR35) Location: Hemel, HP2 Role Overview: The Quality Inspector will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet stringent quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This position involves conducting inspections, maintaining compliance with industry regulations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product integrity and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Perform First Off and Final Inspections. Conduct In-Process Inspections to maintain production quality. Provide post-delivery inspection support as required. Skills & Experience Required: ✅ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. ✅ Experience in Aerospace and/or Precision Manufacturing industries. ✅ Familiarity with CMM inspection and associated measuring equipment. ✅ At least 3 years of experience in an inspection role Person Specification: Essential Requirements: ✔ A solid general education. ✔ Strong numerical ability and accurate data entry skills. ✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. ✔ Good communication skills (written & verbal). ✔ A customer-oriented mind-set. ✔ A structured, methodical approach to work. ✔ Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks efficiently. Desirable Attributes: ✔ Prior experience working in an Aerospace Manufacturing environment. ✔ Knowledge of AS9100 & ISO9001 quality systems. ✔ Commercial awareness and a professional approach. ✔ Ability to lead, motivate, and work within a team. ✔ A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. ✔ A hands-on “can-do” attitude with a strong commitment to meeting objectives.
