You will play a pivotal role in developing and integrating advanced machine learning models and algorithms into our SAIF Autonomy product line, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of AI systems. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms for perception, decision-making, and other AI components within SAIF Systems' solutions. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including embedded software engineers, robotics software engineers, and systems architects, to integrate machine learning components seamlessly into the overall system. Conduct extensive research, experimentation, and evaluation of state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to enhance the capabilities and performance of our Runtime Assurance platform. Develop and implement robust testing, validation, and monitoring strategies to ensure the safety, reliability, and fairness of machine learning models. Optimize machine learning models for efficient deployment and execution on a variety of hardware platforms, including embedded systems and edge devices. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's machine learning development processes, tooling, and methodologies. Key Skills and Experience Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, with a strong focus on applied machine learning. Proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). Solid understanding of various machine learning techniques, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, and unsupervised learning. Experience with data pre-processing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques. Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Desirable Experience with robotics, prompt engineering, LLMs, RL, and multi-agent systems is a plus. H ands-on experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, with a proven track record in delivering real-world AI solutions.
