About Us:

What You’ll Do:
* Provide expert second-line IT support to schools, universities, and other educational institutions.
* Manage and optimise IT systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure peak performance.
* Conduct on-site visits across Merseyside, offering both technical support and strategic IT guidance.
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues quickly and effectively.
* Work closely with educational staff and corporate clients to ensure they have the tools they need for success.
What We’re Looking For:
* 5+ years of experience in IT support, ideally in an educational setting (experience with corporate clients is a bonus).
* Strong technical expertise in network management, cloud solutions (Office 365, Google Workspace), and server administration (Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).
* Experience with Smoothwall, Aruba switches, and educational tech systems (e.g., MIS, Paxton Systems).
* Skilled in Mac management, MDM tools (e.g., Jamf), and print management (e.g., Papercut).
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
* A customer-focused attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with both educators and corporate clients.
* Full UK driving licence and your own vehicle for regular travel across Merseyside.
Why Work with Us?
At Pentre Tech, we believe in making a real impact—whether that’s enabling teachers to inspire or helping businesses operate more efficiently. Our team is passionate about innovation, and we pride ourselves on delivering tailored IT solutions that drive success. You'll gain diverse experience, working with both educational institutions and corporate clients, while being part of a supportive team that values growth and personal development.
Perks & Benefits:
* Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses.
* Comprehensive benefits package, including private dental and medical insurance.
* Generous company pension scheme.
* Flexible working hours and a focus on work-life balance—no weekend shifts!
* On-site parking and free parking for staff.
