Technical Process Co-ordinator/Technologist - Meals London (Abbeydale Site)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9.30am - 6pm
Contract Type: Permanent

What we do
This role is at our Bakkavor Meals site in Park Royal - West London, which is split across 3 factories and 1 distribution centre. The factories make chilled ready meals, houmous dips, deli products, and savoury accompaniments and employ over 2,000 people.
About the role
This is an amazing role to learn and develop knowledge on how to manage and maintain food manufacturers' food safety and legal systems as well as compliance with customer codes of practice.
About you
1. Managing site HACCP system
2. Completing process and allergen validations
3. Completing allergen risk assessments
4. Supporting with factory launches
5. Export systems for outbound
6. Carrying out generic and group-based risk assessments, completing and maintaining all relevant HACCP documentation ensuring cross-site compatibility where appropriate
7. Performing all initial process validation studies and planning and managing ongoing annual validations
8. Planning and carrying out process audits to verify output from accountabilities 1, 2, 3 are correctly and effectively implemented
9. Undertaking project work as directed by the Technical Manager or Quality Assurance Manager designed to understand raw materials or processes to improve product quality and safety
10. Collating, maintaining, and trending data required by the Quality Management system e.g. nutritional testing, GMP audits, taste panel results, etc.
11. Generating and maintaining factory required documentation
Qualifications:
HACCP certification to level 3 or an equivalent food-related degree
Training or practical experience on allergen management
Training and practical experience in the use of data loggers (programming, downloading data, and data interpretations)
