COMPANY:
Compass Associates are working with an adult social care provider who have a number of residential and nursing homes throughout the UK. The company is passionate about providing exceptional care and support for people with intellectual disabilities, creating a warm and inclusive environment where their service users can live a fulfilling and independent life.
They are seeking an experienced Manager to join them and take on registration with CQC. The service has 34 places in total and provides care for adults with learning disabilities, complex needs, and dementia.
ROLE:
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for improving CQC standards and compliance, ensuring the highest quality of care and support to all service users, supervision and training of staff, and developing relationships with local authorities and the local community. You will demonstrate professional leadership and provide ‘hands-on’ management support and guidance, managing staff activities and influencing their practices and attitudes. You will ensure that performance standards are identified and met, taking overall responsibility for recruitment, employment, and working practices. This includes the provision of induction, training, and support as required, with particular emphasis on our aims, values, and high-performance standards. You will also plan and manage the annual leave of all staff designations to always ensure the safe running of the service.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
* The ideal candidate will hold a Level 5 NVQ or be working towards it and must be a car driver.
* Experience in a management or deputy position with experience in completing audits, staff supervision/appraisal, and HR processes such as recruitment, absence management, and rota generation are essential.
* Applicants must be confident with MCA and DOLs.
* Experience managing a similar service is desirable.
* Excellent and in-depth knowledge of CQC standards and compliance.
* Strong people management skills, communicator, and team player.
PROCESS:
Two-stage interview process: the first is a Teams interview with the Regional Manager, and the second stage is a panel interview with the SLT and CEO.
