A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy is looking for a Microsoft IAM Senior Specialist for a 3-month contract initially to start in January, based in Hatfield (Hybrid).

Inside IR35 The Senior Specialist will be a key contributor to the Identity and Access Management, driving and delivering the authentication solutions required to provide access capabilities to all employees, their partners and customers, and supporting 3rd parties, into the organisations systems.
Essential Experience Technical certifications in Microsoft technologies: AZ500, SC300 Proven track record of work experience in a challenging commercial environment Expertise in relevant functional systems (EntraID, Active Directory) Experience in dealing with and influencing multi-tier management Experience of developing best practice policies and procedures for functional area Highly motivated in self-learning and maintaining industry best practice awareness Competency in designing and delivering complex identity-centric solutions Developing solutions in a results-orientated operation Hold SC Clearance or able to obtain Responsibilities Delivering the solutions design of the operational service, including: Identity Lifecycle service to the business covering internal, external, guest and partner accounts.
Consulting on identity security controls, including Conditional Access Policies, Multi-Factor Authentication, Passwordless and Biometric Authentication technologies Collaborating with Access Management teams to provide a complete IAM service Supporting projects by providing: Subject Matter expertise on Identity framework integration including the use of Enterprise Application registration in EntraID for SSO and automated provisioning The design of enterprise solutions to resolve complex problems Onboarding solutions into existing IAM designs and plans Agreeing work packages to be delivered by the team Quality-assure deliverables: Ensure solutions will comply with ISO 27001 internal and external audits Support Cyber Essentials Plus (CE) compliance Represent the department in customer audits and presales questionnaires Awareness of the differing expectations of Government/Military to commercial audits Keep up to date with current and future technologies: Maintain a leading-edge understanding of identity technologies and trends Maintain CPE within the Identity specialisation Attend relevant conferences, seminars and workshops Managing stakeholder expectations by: Meeting regularly with your line manager to discuss performance and workloads Generate and deliver reports and presentations to convey ideas, risks and opportunities, best practices or status Meet with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate work, gain or provide support, work collaboratively Maintain systems and solutions Be responsible for our Identity Provider (IdP) systems and supporting applications and solutions Support change and maintenance of IdPs and supporting systems Desirable experience Fully qualified in relevant professional qualifications (CISM, CISSP, etc.) Graduate level qualification in a relevant subject Knowledge of information assurance standards and frameworks including CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials/Essentials Plus, GDPR.
Good presentation and moderation skills; professional and convincing manner of appearance and expression; clear, targeted communication (verbal and written).
