* To deliver a high standard of patient care as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) in general practice, using advanced autonomous clinical skills, and a broad and in-depth theoretical knowledge base.
* Working in a flexible approach and in collaboration with the GPs and other health professionals to provide comprehensive healthcare sensitive to the needs of the local population.
* As part of rotation, to work as part of the Triage team undertaking clinician based triage to determine patients priority based on their clinical needs
* To manage own clinical workload in general practice, working within their own professional boundaries, responding effectively to patient need and ensuring patient choice and ease of access to services.
* To provide education and training of students and other colleagues.
* To participate and support Practice Research studies, as appropriate.

We are pleased to advertise an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic clinician to join our busy and friendly team at The Adam Practice. As an experienced Advanced Practitioner, you will have a strong emphasis on providing high quality care, good teamwork and flexibility, to join our established Advanced practitioner team. You will have excellent communication skills, work well in a team and have the ability to be flexible working across sites and, as part of a rota, into our dedicated Triage Team. The successful candidate will be able to use advanced autonomous clinical skills, enabling them to competently assess, diagnose and treat a wide variety of acute presentations, referring to other members of primary care or secondary care as required. Clinics will consist of both pre-bookable and emergency on the day appointments. As a practice it utilises a full triage system, which has a dedicated team of administrators, supported by clinicians and there will be requirement to be involved in our centralised triage system to provide clinical on a rotational basis.
The Adam Practice is a partnership of 16 GP Partners located at 5 sites in Poole, Dorset and as a CQC outstanding practice, we are committed to supporting training and personal development. We provide medical, both UK and international students, alongside Student Nurse training placements and there are opportunities to be involved in supporting our training programme.
This vacancy is offered on a permanent part time basis, working up to 30hrs per week. To include a Thursday and Friday all day, with some flexibility on other days., Depending on experience Equivalent to Band 8a dependent on experience & qualifications
