Practice effective communication and co-ordination site-wide Key dimensions: (headcount, volumes, market share, NNS and Ebitda) Departmental targets & KPIs Accurate scheduling procedure – adherence to resource and plant availability TSD annual fixed cost budget adherence SHE targets Key contacts: (internal – external) Maintenance Planning Manager; Production & Packaging Front Line Managers; Production & Packaging Process Engineers; TSD; Engineering Warehouse Staff; ES Specialist; Quality Specialist; Procurement Manager External Contractors; Engineering suppliers Accountabilities Schedules internal and external resources, materials and services to ensure that all weekly maintenance plans are created in timely fashion and in accordance with departmental KPIs Plans resources, material and 3rd Party services to complete requirements on a work order Shares accountability in ‘meeting and beating’ the departments KPIs Attends Maintenance and Production meetings as required by the schedule of meetings Reviews work order accumulations and creates work orders from work requests Ensures work orders are closed when completed Ensures integrity and accuracy of the maintenance management system including equipment history, labour tracking and parts usage Reviews completed work orders to identify follow-up work Executes tasks as identified in the role’s checklist Develops PPM plans in collaboration with Production & Packaging maintenance front line management Attends maintenance planning and scheduling meetings where appropriate Stages material for planned work Co-ordinates and communicates appropriate safety precautions including internal and external risk assessments, BA provision, Permits. Responsible for ensuring that, for new equipment, the necessary criticality assessments, maintenance routines and spare parts are set up within the COMMS system (SIMPS/ERP) Actively seek feedback and monitor progress against plans 4. Qualifications and Technical competencies required Education Apprenticeship - served engineer Experience Experience of working to targets, KPIs Experience working within maintenance dept (or comparable technical services dept) Ability to adapt to, and embrace, change.
