St John's is a Church of England primary school where every child is welcomed, valued and loved. The school's purpose is to serve the community of Sparkhill by providing each child with the education they need to flourish and each family the support they need to thrive.
We have a strong team of practitioners working within EYFS who would welcome a compassionate, motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join them in serving our school. The role requires that the successful applicant works as a Teaching Assistant across Nursery and Reception.
The successful candidate will be:
1. Committed to getting the best outcomes for all pupils
2. An excellent communicator with a high standard of spoken and written English
3. Resilient, positive, forward looking and enthusiastic about making a difference
4. Able to work with staff, parents and agencies to promote best practice for learners who have barriers to learning
Experience would be an advantage but not essential.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
