Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent - Full time
What will you be responsible for?
As a Technician, you'll be working within the Professional Services team, supporting them in surveying and identifying underground & overhead services on our sites, reducing hazards associated with service strikes through design, and working with the delivery teams in developing safe systems of work during the construction planning phases.
Your day to day will include:
* Site surveying and ensuring safety on site, conducting thorough site surveys before and during active operations
* Accurately locating, identifying, marking up, and recording underground and overhead services
* Issuing permits for digging and conducting GS6 assessments for overhead services
* Collaborating with the operational team ensuring a clear handover of utility information is received
* Attending on site emergencies, providing critical support and expert advice on any given situation, Travelling and attending sites across the North and West Northamptonshire
What are we looking for?
This role of Technician is great for you if:
* You have experience in site surveying and ensuring safety on site, driving health and safety and performance to the wider team, working in a growing and changing environment, an ability to ‘get on with the job in hand' and make things happen, whilst making safety the priority for all
* Drive and hold a full driving licence, able to read and interpret site drawings
* Hold SSSTS/SMSTS – Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme or Site Managers Safety Training Scheme
