Location: Glascoed – With location alternatives of Radway Green & Washington
What you’ll be doing:
* Updating schedule and performance progress using the Earned Value Management system including the analysis of Earned Value data
* Support the application of effective project control (budget, schedule, resource & change management) for all project types
* Support the effective deployment of PM governance including Lifecycle Management across all Land (UK) projects
* Facilitating effective decision making through the analysis and reporting of project control data
* Providing regular updates and progress reports to internal and external stakeholders
* Establish, apply, and improve Project Control procedures, methods and systems
* Analysis of resource utilisation and forecasting of future resource requirements
* Guide Project Managers in the correct use of Earned Value Management
Your skills and experiences:
* Previous experience in a Project Management environment
* Experience of working through the Project lifecycle from inception through to completion
* Experience of using Earned Value Management to monitor project progress
* Analytical skills, able to manipulate data and identify trends. Able to assess if data is complete and accurate
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Project
Applicants should ideally be Degree qualified or have equivalent experience, likely to be in a technology, engineering, science or IT related discipline. Applicants should be a Chartered Engineer or hold another equivalent professional registration with a relevant institution.
